This started a while ago in early 2022. I had a $500.00 piece of amazing Sugar Maple I was never gonna use so I sent it to Jim to try one of his kits. Everything was going as planed until I got a call my stock broke!!! NOW WHAT!!!!!! Katherine and Jim made it right and replaced my stock and I finished that rifle for a friend. They sent me the broken stock to inspect and salvage. After speaking with Jim he recommended I cut the fore end and make a 3\4 stock conversion. Broke my heart, but the forend was un fixable where it cracked. Decision time, fire wood or............
Here is no decision with all it's pimples and warts!
I ordered a Hoyt 45cal barrel measuring the best I could to fit the swamped inlet of the existing stock. Called Buck Ridge and got a conversion lock. Jim was kind enough to sell me the remaining parts I needed.
PARTS LIST
Buck Ridge Conversion lock, heavily modified plate to fit existing mortise.
