Completed another Kibler Woodsrunner in Maple

Finished assembling this one today. It’s a .54 caliber. Iron nitrate and Tried & True finish.

On my ramrods, I put the brass accessory end on the the end that goes into the forestock and carve a groove about 5/16" below the end that would stick out of the barrel and is visible when stowed under the barrel. I use the groove to wrap a leather thong around if it gets stuck down the barrel. I notice you put several grooves in yours. Is that for extra purchase, to use as a jag, or looks?

That's really nice, TDM.  Great muzzle treatment as well. Should be easy loading.
