Mike is very close to the top of the pecking order in the gun making world right now. Mike is strictly business and not quick to boast. He’s a humble guy with mountains of talent. This is another wonderful example. Bravo.

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

Mike regularly shares his building projects on FaceBook, and it's fascinating to see his guns being born. He always takes time to reply to each comment or question asked. His artistic skills are beyond my comprehension. If I may be so bold to say, Mike really a living legend.

Guys, I cant tell you how proud i am of my new Mike Gahagan longrifle. Pictures do it no justice, cant wait to sight it in and hopefully harvest a whitetail with it this Fall. Plus i was able to retrieve a rifle out of the black hole known as Ramer, Alabama.  ;)

Thanks Wayne - I'm a long way from having a decent collection of longrifles but you have to start somewhere.

Welcome from Maine, Tdc.

That is one beautiful rifle even though the lock is on the wrong side.  The carving is flawless and the attention to detail makes it REAL eye candy.
