this may the wrong spot for this (mods, please move if appropriate), but just wanted to remind anyone who doesn't know, the Contemporary Collecting forum has a link to the Contemporary Makers Blogspot. The Blogspot often features original antique long rifles and other items as well. The link is at the top of the page in a sticky post.
Lately that blogspot has featured some amazing pics of some of Louie Parkers' collection that is being auctioned off. It's very sad that this is happening, but these pics are offering a great opportunity to study, without actually seeing in person, some really great examples of original Antique Long rifles. It's hard to find such detailed pics taken and presented with such care.
I had not visited that blogspot for a while, and just spent a couple hours poring over the detailed pics there. Great inspiration.
