Long gun in my area

This is a unknown rifle offered to me for sale. Owner does not know anything about it. Not sure if I will go look at. Any info you may know of, I would like to hear.

A fairly plain back action percussion shotgun in fair shape. Value is going to be pretty limited. That oval marking on the left at the breech is a proof from Liege, Belgium, indicating it has an imported barrel.

I would not be interesting in buying that gun. Probably well oiled break.
Could be repaired, however?

I'd ask myself why I was considering it. If it's purely from a collectors standpoint then go for it. If it's because it's all you can afford and you're hoping you can get it function again after a few cheap repairs then pass. If it's just to learn about making repairs then it might be worth it. People have different ideas and goals and this might be just what you're looking for.
