Bridger Mountain Men Shoot
« on: May 10, 2024, 03:40:50 AM »
April 2024
On the East slope of The Continental Divide SW of Whitehall MT.
12 shooters. Great time had by all out of 18 targets we had the following results

               RIFLE POINTS   DRESS POINTS.        Total
Wes             16.                     3                        19
Dan.            15                      3                        18
Mike            14.                     3.                       17
Dave.          14.                     3                        17
Dennis         13                      3.                       16
Jim              10                      3                        13
Bruce           10                      3.                       13
Kevin            9                       3                        12
Gary.             8                      3                        11
Rich.             7                                                  7
Griffin           6                                                  6
Dean

We had a couple of ties and a couple of top shooters had bad days.
Some were new to the match and one Griffin had never shot a flintlock before and was shooting a borrowed rifle. Which with a few rounds loaded with help got through the day without a hitch and shot pretty darned well considering.

Next match is May 19 at our other, more remote, location.

Instruction for a new shooter.

It is good to get out shooting with friends. The more, the merrier.

Glad to see someone under 40 out shooting with the geezers.
