Need to find Antique Longrifle Expert in New Jersey or Pennsylvania

My husband and I have the unfortunate task of selling a Pennsylvania percussion longrifle made by Jacob Fordney on behalf of a friend who needs money due to a medical problem.  We've shown the weapon to a friend who participates in Civil War reenactments and he believes it may be a genuine period piece.  It is not chambered in a modern caliber.  We haven't measured it.  We would like to have the weapon evaluated/appraised and would prefer to find someone in New Jersey or Pennsylvania who could do so.  We also have an inscribed antique powder horn.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.   We can provide pictures of the weapon, if necessary.

If you could submit photographs of the rifle and the horn along with any other pertinent information, there are many here who can help you.
The maker is a well known gun builder of the mid 1800s and his work is oftentimes very desirable.
It would be helpful to include data such as overall length, barrel length, type of ignition, (flintlock, or percussion) and anything you can provide regarding details to inlude, engraving, inlays, patchbox, ramrod and so on.
Do much the same with the horn, if you would,

Another place to take it, not too far away, would be to Dixon's Muzzleloading shop.    They are located about 10 miles west of Allentown off of Rt. 78.  They also have connections with some of the best collectors who live nearby and could
probably give you a good assessment of what you have...........Don

I would invite you to Harrisburg to perhaps buy your gun, but, alas, you would probably get picked off by a member of the Lehigh Valley Mafia en route.      Seriously, get some pics up and , if good, you will immediately become popular.

Thanks to all who have responded to my post.  We will be putting up pictures of the rifle and the powder horn.  My husband wants to take better pictures of the powder horn.  We should be able to post them some time tomorrow.  Thanks again.
