A few pieces of my latest work. Any other Bowie makers lurking in here? I know a lot of you will know me without me making any introductions.

I like that they are all a recognizable style and yet slightly different.

I really like the James Black coffin hilts you do. The rest are great too but the Black knives are a favorite of mine.

Not mine, but I got the pleasure of cataloging this one by Jud Brennan earlier this year. It is definitely a beauty! The engraving is very L.D. Nimschke in style:

I am the Lead Historian/Firearms Specialist at Rock Island Auction Co., but I am here out of my own personal interests in muzzle loading and history.

I had a 11.5" blade Bagwell bowie for many years but finally sold it.
Great looking knives, I like that Bowie style without the hand guards.

very nice!  Don't know why, but the coffin-handled versions have always been a favorite of mine.  Never owned one tho'. ::)

I really like the middle knife.  I like the flat grind all the way to the spine, whereas the other two are ground only to the half way mark.  The middle knife thus will have a thinner edge...less like an axe.
