The new book is actually an annual journal published by the Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale, WY. This year's edition (2024 Vol 18) has an article on Hawken rifles that may be of interest to ALR folks. The article title is " Three Early J. & S. Hawken Prestige Rifles" by Nathan E. Bender, Robert A. Tetro, and Daniel W. Phariss. The journal can be purchased from the museum. The price is $25.00.
