Like this but with more line of fire safety involved?

I always liked that print even though I was a hunter safety instructor for 20+ years. It was a good visual aid in class.   ;)

LOL - my feelings as well, thus my comment, re-safety.

Matches are done off hand. But we're a smaller club with aging members so no one will give you a hard time about needing some help.

About that print....yikes. We haven't had anyone shot yet.

Some time ago, after 1962 I was at the range of the Huntington Rifle and pistols Club range with my Whitworth and shooting off a rest and I was very close to sending a 500 grain bullet to the 250 yard target and someone said,"Bob,don't shoot".A group of Cub Scouts was then led across the width of the range by an adult that apparently had NO idea about wandering on to an active range. He was told he was trespassing on marked land but didn't seem to care.Tweedle Dee the Wonder Dummy is still around.I bought the Whitworth from E.M.Farris in 1962 is the reason I dated this note.I was not aware of these kids until someone stopped my shot and I am glad he did. This old picture was done long before any shooting safety rules were even thought of.

Had a turnout of around 40 people. Weather cooperated for the most part. Found plates full of morels as well.
