Priming Horns
« on: March 26, 2025, 03:31:28 AM »
Here are a couple of small horns I picked up at the Alafia Rendezvous.  The larger one has a small hole in the flat base plug which could indicate that it was used as a small hunting horn outside a hunting bag.    Both horns have flat base plugs that are held in by  four small iron tacks.  I wish they could talk.

I was there for a week to enjoy the cold weather and rain.  Still had a great time.  I met a life long friend from Ohio and camped with him.  I also picked up a few raw buffalo horns which seems weird for a guy from Wyoming but couldn't pass up the opportunity to increase my raw inventory.  Lets touch base next year.  If he goes again I may as well.
