Tip Curtis.54 cal Jaeger Rifle (REDUCED)
« on: March 30, 2025, 05:14:59 AM »

I am not interested in shipping at this time. If rather deal face to find locally..I am located in Lexington, KY. I do travel quite a bit and may can meet in places an hour or so away if traveling that way for a serious buyer.

Barrel: 31" maker unknown but gives all characteristics of a Colerain, I just never unpinned it to see
Barrel: Heavily swamped
Barrel rate of twist: 1:66 (a little better than 1/2 turn pulling a cleaning jag out)
Lock: Pete Allan
LOP: 14"
Cal:
54

Curly maple stock. Rifle functions flawlessly. No issues. I haven't shot it in awhile but I'm sure is more accurate than me. Stock has some nicks and dings as I did take it hunting a few times. My inside barrel pics are best I can do. No rust in barrel. I take care of my firearms. I've got enough flintlocks and am downsizing. Rear sight was moved forward for my eyes. There's a piece of lead in former dovetail. You can easily move back if you choose. $1625, will entertain serious offers. Thanks for looking.

Approximately 7.5 to 8 lbs on a set of analog bathroom scales. All Ive got right now. Rifle is well balanced.
