Just a random thought, but is blackpowder readily available? Anybody experiencing shortages?

Grafs brand is out of 2F and 3F. It is imported, by the way.

No.  My club is making a group buy right now. Crater Fireworks.  IT is Goex.

Do yall have the contact info for crater? So many scam websites it’s hard to know which are real.

Lots available out west but what the heck is going on with flints? Neither French Amber or Black English seem to be available anywhere and are now $4.00 apiece?

Bad news - the Maine Powder House is closing.  Said the unavailability of GOEX is the root cause.

I bought Goex from Crater Fireworks just before the well ran dry after the Goex plant explosion, I looked at at least a dozen other dealers sites and all were sold out, he was the only one that still had Goex in stock. I think it was his company's name, people will overlook a fireworks place when they are searching for black ppowder.

Nice guy, quick shipping althought there are no price breaks for hazmat or shipping. My $18 a pound powder was $30 to my door, high compared to old prices of just a few years ago but in line with what the same stuff would cost me now. At the rate I shoot I probably have a lifetime supply with close to 25# held in reserve.

This news isn't good, I can only hope that there will be a supply at Friendship in June.

I have had no problem purchasing black powder or flints. Things are getting pricey, but available. Jerry
