French SXS Fowling Piece

Here is a nice French SxS flint fowling gun in original Flint condition. The locks are marked DE Hausson. The frizzens operate, and the hammers cock and release although they could use a good tune up. The barrels are 37 ˝ inch long and 20 bore (62).  “Tordu” is stamped on the bottom of the barrels which means “twisted”. The barrels are retained by a single wedge into the Walnut stock. All the Hardware is polished Iron (steel).  The stock is pretty sound for a 200+year old fowling piece. There are few patches and cracks that can hardly be seen on the fore stock and a few chips also. The ram rod looks pretty old , it is tapered and has a nice horn tip.
