58 caliber Green River Rifle Works Trapper pistol.........sort of. Pistol parts set was bought by my buddy Lance from the GRRW factory in the early 1970's. Original builder ruined the factory stock, so the pistol was never finished. I purchased a P++ 45 year old stock blank with the barrel channel and ramrod hole drilled from AJ White (friend of Doc White, but no relation), of White's Buffalo Trading Post in Shoshoni, WY. Only the barrel (GRRW kit barrels were normally not marked with the GRRW logo and this one is not), small Siler flintlock lock, trigger guard, and ramrod thimble are original. All other new parts. End result is a 13" overall length, 1" x 7" rifled barrel, and 1.5 pound trigger pull pistol. Aqua fortis stained. I did not use the original Trapper profile for the stock. Weighs 2lb 4oz. New, unfired, fully functional.
