Recommendation for a stock magician, for a mid-19th century target rifle

There are several on this forum that can do this stock and maybe some will reply.I am no longer making these locks or any other or the triggers either but there may be something available.This is a high class rifle and whoever made it had more than a passing idea.
I just got a good look at the name.George Ferris in Utica,NY. I shot a Ferris rifle in matches before I got my own ready.I borrowed it from
E.M.Farris who was one of the founders of the NMLRA and had a gun shop in Portsmouth,Ohio
A pistol grip stock blank may be available from Rod England who makes Alex Henry style rifles and sells kits for them.

There are a couple of threads here on GH Ferriss of Utica NY and his rifles.

From elsewheres -

George H. Ferriss born ca 1820 in New York is listed as a gunsmith and gun maker in the 1850-1880 Utica censuses. He died in 1885:

From ROMAN CITIZEN newspaper, Rome, Oneida County, New York, Friday, December 18, 1885

FERRIS - In Utica, New York, December 13, 1885, GEORGE H. FERRIS, aged 65 years, 11 months and 5 days.

That is a wonderful rifle.  Dennis Smith, The Stock Doctor, is one of the most highly regarded stock repair guys.  This gun needs to be done with no evidence of the repair and from what everyone says that is what Dennis does.  I would at least get his opinion.

Randy G. is all I can remember of his name. He in the past advertised in Muzzle Blasts and they had a feature article on him and his work one month. From Ohio I think. Contact the NMLRA

Good looking rifle and it looks like George Ferris got a look at an English rifle during his long career.
