D. BOYER .32 Longrifle

This vintage build .32 longrifle is stamped D. BOYER on top barrel flat.  L&R lock. This guy liked brass bling, apparently.  Maybe it tells a personal story? Does D. Boyer ring any bells?

Don't know him but it looks like an interesting piece of our contemporary culture. I would say he marched to a different drummer, I like it.
