Any thoughts on this Rifle? Partial Signature

Any thoughts so when and where this one might have been made. It is 55 to 58 caliber. The two separate parts of the patch box appear to be original but the main hinged part is a modern replacement. I think it was replaced with the same style from the looks around the edges, but it required some work to make it fit. Lock appears to be replaced as well. There is some wood filled around the edges.
Signature looks to be … ? … ? …
Any thoughts appreciated.

Just realized I had the picture with the initials upside down. I know it’s hard to make out but I think the first letter might be a T.
