Glass bottles

Anybody know a good source for some small non-screw top bottles for use? Everything I found on the net is collecter type stuff. Those folks think that their glass bottle is worth as much as my rifle, and the bottle ain't even got anything in it even......

Define "small" for me. Round, oval or ........? Maybe let us know what you are going to use them for just to give us an idea about size?

Anything from about 6 ounces for my windshield washer cleaning solution at the range to perhaps an ounce or two for patch lube in a bag. Plastic bottles are oh so practical, handy and useful, but they just don't fit in.

I have found some at yard sales and flea markets for 50 cents or so.

When ever I am hunting or deer scouting in small woodlots I find TONS of small bottles.
Every farm had a dump at the back. I have found some very cool bottles and Jugs in these locations.
I scoop anything that does not have a screw top.

I have also found some bottles from local beverage companies that nobody even knew
ever existed. Some fancy, Some plain, Wisky, Gin, Medicine. Ink wells, I once found a perfect cream or syrup decanter.

It is not even a hobby but when I come across one I get curious as to what might be found.

Try some of the local craft shops and stores. I know Micheal's and Franklin's have some and aren't bad priced.

A Place I've found useful is my favorite beverage store.  Alot of imported Beers come in great stoneware and glass bottles with corks or flip tops.  Of coures these are somewhat bigger bottles.  Maybe bigger than you want.

The Gunworks Muzzleloading Emporium has some nice bottles at only a buck a piece.  I warn you now that shipping and handling will easily double the price, but they are great little bottles.

I get my other bottles at Micheals, but these are closest to the 'real thing.'

Do you know anyone that flies-I mean on an airplane.?
I have one across the street that if she would flap her arms like she flaps her jaws & other parts, she would fly for certain!

I don't know if they still hand out those v small liquor bottles on the commercial flights; but they work just fine in my box for oil and such!  They do have screw tops; but you can kinda hide 'em in the depths of your box or bag and I won't tell if you don't!

I stole mine from my 58 yr old kid!

I didn't know about Michael's. I can see that these bottles are going to be very costly. I cannot in good conscience slip out to any type of craft shop without the lovely Ms Susan, which adds about $100 to the trip, and to further complicate matters, it is right next door to a Woodcrafters store. These bottles could end up costing $500. Might be cheaper just to book a short flight to Atlanta to get the bottles that Roger mentioned.

  Try here www.camdengrey.com.  They have many different sizes from 1/2 oz up in clear, brown and blue.  Most take screw tops of plastic so are not real authentic but would meet you're requirements I believe.

Garden Ridge used to sell many types of non screw cap type of glass bottles and containers. But this was years ago, and I've not been in one in some time.

 For one ounce clear bottles,I have these little ginseng ones that have a pressed on lid made of tin. Fitted with a cork,they work just fine. They are usually sold in six-packs in health food stores. Ginseng= poor mans viagra! LOL!
