brass cannon
« on: July 25, 2025, 11:43:57 PM »
NEW PRICE , HOPE THIS HELPS. $ 300.00 WITH FREE SHIPPING AND INS.     Hate to go so low on this great cannon, but I have had my fun with it can be fired, and has all the item that came with a real one in battle. I forget how long it is, I will look it up and ad here soon. Its 50 cal. I was the best one made about 30 yrs. ago, made with oak and brass. Question,  Bernie/oldgunguy

Dimensions; barrel is 8 1/4'' long, barrel is 1 3/8'' dia at breech, the base is 12'' x 6 3/4'' and its 4 1/4'' high, has a felt bottom. There's a wood wedge under the back of the cannon to raise it up to aim for yardage also.

Thanks,  Bernie

Having made a few turned and bored tubes myself over the years, I can say that a ton of time went into making such a well detailed scale model, both tube and carriage. I’ sure there must be a desk top artillerist out there. GLWS
