war club

Here's a club I made a while back. Locust. Stained with walnut hulls.

It's about 26". That's a little longer than most antiques. Johnson's Accoutrements IV has photos of clubs ranging from 14-25".

Yes, it is very hard wood. Primary market value is as fence posts.

Years ago I attempted to make the same with bois d arc but the wood would always split on me when curing.
