« on: September 15, 2025, 07:55:24 PM »
I got an email that the Hawken kits are coming along well, with photos and details of the kit.  I'm looking forward to getting one.

I was very excited when i first heard of this project. However after watch8ng it develop and seeing thebliberties taken i am pretty unsure if i want to claum my space in the pre order line.   I would very much like to hear from one of the resident experts on subject. In particular i am not liking the tapered barrel the underlug and i dont trust the stock form but i would very much like to hear other opinions. Herb? Taylor? Don     or others with direct knowledge

Greywuuf,
The topic of Jim Kibler's Hawken kit and members' opinions about the design have been discussed quite a lot already. If you haven't seen that discussion, you might want to visit the thread below:

If members want to discuss technical similarities and contrasts, that is certainly acceptable and welcome. But please remember to keep the discussion technical. Thanks.
