An average wage in 1800 $1.00 a day. A $10 raffle ticket would be very expensive for most to afford. Also, the seller was expecting to reap $250 from this raffle when a single barreled rifle or smoothbore would cost less than $20. it MUST have been NICE, wonder why he didn't publish PICTURES??? LOL!!!....LK
