Jerry Huddlestons Rifles & Engraving

I sure do miss seeing his work & emails from him.  What a nice & talented man he was.
The engraving on this 2006 show rifle is incredible.  When you look at the Patchbox, you
have to look very hard to see where it is hinged, until you open it.

I knew Jerry very well as a fellow engraver and good friend. We would talk often about engraving techniques. He was a true master at gun building. I miss him

The Top rifle is a copy of the Chief's Presentation rifle 1812  that he made in 2006. He won
an award with it at the Engravers Guild show in Reno, Nevada with it. He told me it is by far
not the most elaborate rifle I have built. But it is the one I am most comfortable shouldering,
as it just fits me.
