Question, .43 smooth rifle attributed to John Rupp

The pic below is from Pennsylvania Longrifles of Note pgs. 16 and 17




It's a follow on build I'm considering after I  finish my second rifle.

1.) Not that it matters, but is it properly attributed? It seems the other Rupp rifles I've found so far are larger guns.

2.) info in the text is scant. It mentions that the barrel is slightly tapered. Has anyone seen the actual rifle and if so could you offer guidance on the barrel specs?

That is likely John Rupp II, son of either George Rupp or Andrew Rupp (still haven't figured that one out).  Macungie Twp Lehigh County, died in 1848.  He was a nephew of brothers Herman Rupp and Johannes/John Rupp I.  It's a 19th century rifle., hence the skinnier nature.
