***SPF*** My Personal Use Powder Horn (#23)
« on: October 10, 2025, 06:22:43 PM »
Hello Forum friends,
I decided to switch out my personal Powder Horn for another one I made recently (yup, taking one out of the display cabinet to use!) and I am offering "Liberty and Freedom Horn" (Number 23) at a great price of $65 plus $15 shipping.
It is a left-side carry, measuring 13.5 inches from nozzle to base. The base cap is 2.24 wide by 3" high. This horn carries about 3/4 pound of powder I would estimate.
Things of note: the Poplar wood base cap had cracked while I was inserting it, but it is 1/2" thick and was glued in place and retained by wooden dowers as well. Also the horn shows a fine crack at the base which was permanently stabilized with epoxy.
There is some varnish wear at the nozzle which is not unusual for a well-used horn.
I have been using this horn since I made it in October/November 2022 with absolutely no concerns. I guarantee its stability and integrity. I would not offer it for sale if I thought it was anything but sturdy, reliable and good quality. Money back guarantee against horn malfunction.
Please feel free to ask any questions!
Thanks for looking!

~Bob
