1770 Officers Fusil
« on: October 11, 2025, 10:45:02 PM »
Hello,
I just finished up this Officers Fusil. It could be considered Colonial or British. I did a bit of research and found them similar in style. I did not build it for a bayonet to be attached. Here are the details of the build:
.66 caliber smooth bore (Ed Rayl)
39” round barrel common length on fusil muskets
American black walnut stock
Length of pull 13 5/8”
Drop 3 1/2”
Buttplate 2” wide
Ramrod is English fashion 1/4” dia.
Cosmetically modified Chambers Early Ketland flintlock
The Fusil dates to the 1770’s period
Asking price $3,800. Buyer will pay 1/2 shipping cost, box will be constructed to ship.
Thanks
Tim
