Is the accuracy of a round ball changed if you jug choke a smoothbore barrel?

I jug choked a .44 smoothbore.  It shot round ball exceptionally well, much better than it had a right to. I used it for bunnies in the early spring, being able to make head shots out to pretty close to 50yards.
I traded it for some "Sharps parts". The new owner e-mailed me to say, " this thing shoots like my rifles".
I slso broke 10 straight on trap with it from 16yd position using about 3/4 ounce of 7 1/2's or 8's. Might have been a mix.
Thus, my experience shooting patched round ball from a jug choke was better, much better than shooting patched round ball from my modern/IMP/Cylinder choked 20 bore flinter.

I think having the "end choke"(bore dia. of 1"length)  is what "saved" the round ball accuracy, compared to the no-end choke at the muzzle.
The "end choke" needs to be the same length as the shot charge, in order for the choking system to work the best.
This "end choke" is common on most or many of the best Euro guns, at least that is how I understand choking systems.
design "E" shows the end choke very well. The picture of the jug choke (G) shows virtually no end-choke. I feel this is not the best design from my reading and meager experience. "H" shows a roughened end-choke. I don't like this due to possible damage to the shot.
