WOW!!! My original subject posting reguarding this wire inlay stuff took off like a cat in the crosshairs!!! Bottom line.....I got way more information than I ever thought I would!!! Thanks guys!! Think I'll take a break for workin' on my Lehigh and practice some dualing banjos on my acoustic....lol

I want to thank all who contributed to this thread!  Esp.  Chris Laubach!    It is amazing what falls out of the "tree" when given a good shake!   ;)  This thread has been a real learning curve for me - and yes you CAN teach an old dog new tricks!

 For those who follow my postings - they will take a break for a while as I am headed to points west for a little "getaway".  This will include a "show and tell"with the "Masterpiece Rifle" to the Montana Gunmaking Guild in Bozeman on the 14th. of May.  I will be back on or about the 26th. of May.
