Roger Fisher

Many of you know Roger Fisher from his posts in this forum.

Roger had a stroke last Saturday while shooting at Danville, PA.  He was posting targets early in the morning when this happened.  An ambulance responded very quickly and he was at the hospital in a short time.

I spoke to his wife yesterday and he is doing OK, but his prognosis is uncertain at this time.  He is on a feeding tube and is awake.  He really does not know what happened to him.  He is still partially paralyzed.  He may be transferred from ICU within a day or so.

This is as far as I know and I plan on visiting as soon as he is moved.  He is at Danville, a three-hour ride from me, so I want to make sure visits are allowed before I go there.

I will post as I find out more.  Mrs. Fisher promised to keep me updated.

I never met Roger, but he is a friend to all of us here. A prolific writer on this post who really loves this sport and craft.
I wish him a full recovery!
God Bless you Roger!

Will continue in prayer for Roger.  I am not terribly close, but will be up that way in the next few months.  If there is anything I can help with, let me know.

Moderators,

Please pin this to the top of this forum, for the time being, or wherever you deem appropriate.  Rogers health and well being are of concern to us all and I'd hate to see this slip out of memory due to regular board activity.

In my prayers and thoughts for his safe and speedy recovery.

With my thanks, Collector

I hope he is doing better an a good recovery, I know there's no such thing as a speedy one when a stroke is involved but I wish him and his family well.

Roger has been transferred to a rehab facility in Tamaqua, PA.  Mrs. Fisher says he is improving, but has a long way to go.
