Yes, Raz, we give you a lot of credit.

In the old days, an entire workshop would perform this work. You are doing it all yourself.

Yes.
in the old days, there was a division of labor! - Another workshop ( craftsman ) building mechanism , another  performing barrel etc.. ...
comprehensive builder from scratch - concentrated in one hand  (one person) - This is a great adventure (college in).

it's good that today there are companies that sell components - because: more people can get to know the taste of this adventure!

my private road is hard - but this particular point of reference - This is a unique perspective to the perception and understanding of the craft  :)

I like your thoughts about more people enjoying this adventure. I started my adventure with every component out of the catalog. As I learn and gain experience, I make more of my own. Your work has been very inspiring to me and to so many others. Thank you for your generosity.

it's so that every person without observing the experiences of other people, does not reach to nothing!

I  non-stop watching work other people and I'm still learning . I, too, I say, people in America - thank you! :)

Raz, I just worked the County Fair, and hundreds of people saw me carving my gun. There was a blacksmith, spinner, weaver, basket maker, candlemaker, furniture builder, and even a fly-tyer  all under one roof, demonstrating their art. Some people really like this, and others have no idea what is going on. Some people, I hope, will try their hand at some art or craft.

I do believe that some children may not absorb this on a conscious level. But in ten years or twenty, they may have a sudden urge to make something with their hands, besides sliding their fingers over an iPhone.

Yes ...

manual work is an excellent environment for "meditation"
manual work - which man gives himself -  then there is a chance to find a priceless peace , in the " silence"  - easier to find respect for other people...

Manual labor turns the raging lion into a kitten. (unless you're an irishman with centuries of anger, but that anger can be use to drive the chisel!)

An idle mind is the Devil's workshop.

On the contrary, Raz, you have been very busy. You have made a true work of art that is beyond words. This is incredible. Thank you, thank you.

What an inspiring piece of workmanship.

Raz,

Your skill in mixed medium marquetry is impressive! Museum quality even.
I'll have to see this whole thread from the beginning, then i'll probably have to comment more!
