Bag making class information

This is the same class that ran last Spring, it filled up in a few days after they announced it. If you missed out last time here is another chance.

The session will begin with a brief introduction illustrating bag design, and sharing information about materials, tools and their suppliers. Class participants will create a plain rifleman's bag such as one made in a frontier cabin or on any early period farmstead. The rifleman's bag will be a period correct size, that is no larger than 6" x 9". It will have a 1" forged iron buckle and a keeper. Students will use alcohol based dyes or stains to create an "aged" look. Your bag will be a unique, one-of-a kind creation made by your own hand. The bag will not be lined or include an interior pocket, welt or gusset.) Detailed instruction and all material supplied.

$40.00 /person (includes materials and instructors fee)
Pre-registration is required! Class size is limited to 10 students.
