Stephen Gibson Long Rifle
« on: December 27, 2022, 10:12:19 PM »
Been doing a lot of research in to family history and found a letter from my great grandmother talking about the Gibson side of our family and felt it important to help tell a little more about their story.  If anyone has any information related to them, please let me know.  Also found one in someone's collection and was able to document it.  If anyone has any leads for these rifles, please let me know as I am hunting one down.

Thanks for sharing your family info.
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Heck of a thing trying to find a d acquire those family guns, took 40 years for me to find one to see. Took another 5 to find one to buy.
Good luck and have fun with the frustration of the hunt, but it sure does make it worth it when you hold it and take it home .
I'll keep my eyes open for you as I continue my own hunt.
