Great old horn acquired over the weekend

Got this great horn over the weekend, I'd appreciate other's thoughts. It was relatively locally made here in SW VA.
Square iron nails, walnut or maple lathe turned and carved plug. Uniquely but well carved spout. Iron staples in plug and at spout.

What lends it's origins to Early Lancaster horns?

We might be making this horn a little earlier than it actually is, based on its dark heavy patina and signs of years of use that make it look old. The earlier Lancaster horns had the long screw tips, as seen in the last picture posted. But the shorter, integral pawn-shaped tips, like on this horn, usually indicate the percussion era after 1830.

this is beautiful am impressed
