Your illustrations in CAD drawing are wonderful. They show exactly how parts go together, and I can use these ideas for my own work. Thank you. No, I'm not building a wheel lock! Not yet.

Raz, how did you make the square hole in the chain wheel? (photo above)

The wheel is very thick, with a nice fit on the shaft.

I'm doing it manually - but an easy explanation for this activity is difficult - I will future prepare a report on the  of this activity.

Very nice. Spanish clasical guitar is pretty in its complexity and I appreaciate classical, rennaisance and baroque music. My fiancee used to dance flamenco... I on the other hand used to play tennerhorn in a German band so that is not a nice comparison... better for drinking beer. Tried learning how to play balalaika over about six years but my fingers just won't go that fast.

I do not know if I understand .... but the real poetry is in one note, but also - a real poetry is housed in a overture

Poetry can be found in wood and metal. A symphony of colors, form and materials.

I can see why the flintlock was so popular.....you could not afford to have a wheel lock made.  ;D
