For all you guys anywhere near Front Royal VA this is a great show to see original both PA/KY Rifles as well as southern rifles. Good show, wish I could attend but have to miss this year.

I'll be there for sure and will have more of the Bob Roughton collection there for sale.  I'm down to 29 left out of the nearly 100 that I had initially.  Some of the best ones are still available.  Stop by and at least say hello.

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

It was a great show, I got to look at the Bean knife. It was quite impressive as was everything else on the owners table. I picked up a nice southern trigger guard and trigger and a very nice early lock at the show. I had a chance at a very nice southern rifle but unfortunately did not have the funds to be able to bring it home. I think it found a new home with the owner of the Bean knife.

Greatly regretting missing it. Health issues prevented my attendance sadly.
Next year.
