Pistol, Flint, American ? Help to ID

Flint pistol - American  Opinions on the name or maker.

There is an eagle at the beginning of the name and some sort of symbol or letter at the end but we cannot tell what it is.  A few of the letters seem clear but others are not.  Any thoughts?  Name ?  Period ??  It is a small caliber rifled barrel.  Further photos not currently available.  You should be able to enlarge the photo.

Eagles were very common on most anything during the Federal Period.  That image could kinda be considered a Federal Eagle.  Seeing the lock style would help.

I looked at the auction results posted and that item 3111 was not shown on the recap of prices realized.  Must simply be a maker who does not have a lot of remaining examples in circulation.  Not a name that rang any Virginia bells, let alone the area that he worked in.

I have seen 3 signed rifles by Jacob Kline from Hampshire County and this signed brass barreled pistol that is in the libray. All signed in script.  There is a few in Whiskers books, not sure if they are signed or attributted.    Last year a pistol collector had a signed Jacob Kline flintlock pistol at the WV show.  It was oct/round..  Was a little smaller & very elegant, but similar to the  pistol in RIA auction.  Another collector & I was looking at it, and he said it was not made in Virginia , but by a Jacob Kline in Pennsylvania.  But I am not sure he knew that for a fact.  They are also some Jacob Kline rifles made in Ohio, which are rather plain.  I think they are made by a man who originated in Pennsylvania and migrated to Ohio.   

I would like to see some more photos of the pistol in the post.
